Spring Woods High School has grown its Aquatic Science program from three classes last year to four classes this year - that's 34 tanks (three 20 gal, two 25 gal, twenty-four 29 gal, and six 30 gal tanks in one classroom) and 98 students setting up fish tanks in the classroom. Ten of them are saltwater tanks while the remaining twenty four are fresh water.
The student have researched fish and put gravel in their tanks today. If we can get all the supplies, they will be purchasing their fish in the next two weeks. They are so very excited. But we are missing some equipment and already have a very limited budget so I am hoping that if anyone has extra filters (need 6), lights (need four 30"), tops (two 30"), and powerheads (need 9) or even decorations that they would be willing to donate, we would certainly appreciate it and even send you pictures of your donations in the tanks.
