Le and I discussed this when I picked up my guys. The experience we've had does not mesh with what we've read about this place. I'm sure there's been some sort of mistake.

I am writing an email now and I'm sure they'll be understanding and work out a better deal than what they first proposed. I doubt they'd still be in business if this was a typical transaction.

If you guys could give me a list of what you've lost, not gotten or been disappointed with, I'll try to see if they will agree to something to take care of it all at once.
Trogdor was a man. Or maybe he was a dragon man. Or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still TROGDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!

You know, fish are great. I love my fish. But what I really want is a monkey.

For giggles, I got a quote. The fish I wanted were $90 and shipping was estimated at $60. With the shipping it came out to the same price that I would pay locally.

The quote said "shipping cost per pound per destination". I assume that if I got more fish there would be more weight and more cost.

Furthermore, on the off chance that there might be a problem getting a return or refund would be complicated.

I think I am going to stay local with my purchases...
      Jarrod - Houston, Texas
150 gallon - my African cichlid monster tank (I know it isn't a big as yours)
17 gallon - Threadfin rainbows and corys lightly planted
5 gallon - planted red cherry shrimp breeder
3 gallon - planted red cherry shrimp breeder

That's why we have group ordered, so we can split the shipping cost.

I'd love to stay local with my fish orders, but there are so many fish I'd like that I'm just not finding in the local stores. Do you know how many fish stores have my name and number for if they happen to get a panda oranda? Well, no need now. My new guy is awesome.

OK, so I came home this evening and my hap livingstonii had one of my small hap rostratus in his mouth! Ahh, the jerk. I thumped him (I think there's a thread about this) and he let him go, so we'll see what happens. But this is precisely why I was irritated that the size they advertised these fish to be wasn't what was received. I already had to pull one larger fish out of the 55g last night and move it to the 135g, and I may have to move another. I bought what I did predicated on the fact that they were two inches, and thus were not "swallowable".

              90G star sapphire
              75G buccochromis rhoadesii
