    • my brigittae now school more with just going from a group of 10 to 20. no predator needed i just make faces at them. the cpd are interesting in that they make sure that they put plants and driftwood between you and them. i had to pull plants out yesterday just to count them so i could make sure that they were doing well. they are coloring up already but i dont see them eat much since they seem to be midwater swimmers and if they are eating they dont le me see them doing so

        • Just an update, mine are eating! I tried what many people on here said to do and crushed up the flakes into even smaller pieces (almost powdery) and it worked. I currently have my 10 in a fluval edge with 2 long finned abn plecos, 1 oto, and way too many shrimp to count.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

              • Question for those that bought large groups of these and have successfully acclimated their stock to their tanks and exhibiting full coloration... Anyone notice that some of their boraras brigittae are actually boraras merah? I've kept most of the boraras available to the hobby and these some of the ones I netted myself are in closer resemblance to the merah.

                • I tought the males have the deeper color while the females lack most color or vise versa.... Could be a possibility as all of mine from both group buy acclimated well but only some show that nice coloration, ill pay a close look at them tomorrow

                  • The red coloration is not of my concern, I am more concerned about the dark colored pattern, Spot-Line pattern is more of the Merah while the Brigittae is more of just a Line.

                    • Haha, I actually Google both fish to make sure what u meant and they mentioned color intensity being the main difference.... But I don't even have to check now bc I too had noticed that difference but didn't attribute it to them being different type.. but all the merahs came from this 2nd group buy not the 1st

                      • Yes you are correct, the mixed in ones are from the second group buy. The first group buy I was able to obtain a large qty of and they are all very identical in pattern.

                              • i only bought 10 but while staring at them last night, i noticed the same. some of them have more of a spot than a dark line going back to the tail. i was wondering the same if there may have been some strawberries mixed in with the chillis
