Vampire & Red Devil Crab group buy

I was reading up yesterday quite a bit on these guys. They are about 75% terrestrial, although most LFS sell them out of regular aquariums. So heads up on that. I'm trying to decide if a little paludarium is in my future.

+1. Paladariums would be great for these guys.

At $5-$6 each I'm in for about 6-8 of each type red and vampire.

Paladariums looks hard to make.

Paladariums are not very hard to make. Just have to be careful about the type of plants you use. Dendroboard website has articles on this. Humidity is important to keep up but most aquariums with hoods and moist soil /media will keep moist. I notice mine would die off in the winter when my wife decides not to warn me about turning off the heater or when she would crank up the AC to cool the house to below 68'. I was guaranteed a loss. These crabs fight too and need good space / territories for males. They will eat fish flake, freeze dried foods, and pin head crickets(careful grown crickets will kill or hurt them- personal stupid experience). Replace food dish daily. I've not kept any alive more than 8 months. I hope I can change this streak, been doing more reading.
