i have not noticed any odor associated with them at all, the terrarium smells only of plants and soil

Is this the same kinda crab that city pets selling?

I think so, they have sone black ones with like red lines on them...

If they are selling those crabs, I think it was my fault. After I left from Tim's house after the first crab buys, I went to city pets with the crabs, I didn't want to leave them in the car because it was too hot. People got really curious about them and asked what they were.

i havent seen any geosesarma with red lines in them so i doubt thats what these are. their colors are always in large blotches or on certain body parts. it did occur to me that maybe CP might want to get in on the group buy if we cant get enough for a min order? I'm not sure what they would normally buy them for or what a normal minimum quantity would be for them but this cost has to be close? they are one of the few LPS that might sell them since they already have those aweome exo-terra displays.

hmmm... I might have to look into some of that action... what do you feed the crabs?

i feed mine 1 week old crickets or larger ones if i freeze them first (larger live crickets can be a threat), flake fish food, frozen bloodworms, milled flax and chia, algae mini wafers, hermit crab food, and moss. they will take fruit flies, springtails, and small isopods as well from what i have read. most crabs will eat anything that they can catch and these are no different. i dust some of the food with calcium powder. they also pick and decomposing leaf litter and moss in the tank. as they walk around they are constantly picking up things to eat. if you care for these just like you would a poison dart frog then you will be fine.

Cool! I think I'll wait... I have to many critters now as it is... Bearded dragon; jackson chameleon; 15 zebra finches; 3 dogs; Oscar; jack Dempsey ; green terror; feather fin catfish; butt load of tetras; saltwater stuff.... Too much, can't go anywhere, too many critters to take care of
