That's kinda lame.....your cost might end up being a bit higher if a lot of buckets get ordered and weight becomes an issue.

The cost of gas is probably gonna be similar to the cost of shipping since their prices have risen to reflect cost of gas as well....and well....you know about the tax thing  :wink:

Good news and bad news. Bad news first.

Called citypets and the mom told me they don't have anymore 5 pound buckets.  She also said she doesn't know when they are coming in.  She also doesn't know how much they will charge for it because they get it from different sources.  They just go with the cheapest source. FYI, I was speaking Vietnamese to her....I should had just asked to talk to her son.

Good news!

Called HoustonAquariumWarehouse.  Again he is sold out and does not have any in stock right now.  I asked him when you getting some more and he said maybe in a few weeks.  Then, I ask him how much he sells them for....he said $42.88 or he will match the lowest price fold on any interest site.  I told him, "SOLD!" order some and I'll pick up a bucket.  He said he can have the order in for me on Thursday or Friday of next week.  He has to call his supply but they are closed on the weekends.

So that's the cheapest I can find it for as of right now. 42 bucks and 88 cents with no S&H charge but we got that gas and tax issue.  Still worth it.

p.s. This was the price for a 5 pound bucket of NLS cichlid formula 1mm.

Yeah, I don't deal with the mom's much but she still remembers me from back in the day so occasionally she will hook me up on a deal but I mainly deal with the brothers.



As for the bloat thing.....you know how I feel about that issue so please don't blame "food" as the culprit.

Dan ordered a bucket for me last week that i picked up Friday. His prices are great. If you guys need another person to go in on the group buy, then count me in. You just can't beat $43.00 for a 5lb bucket + no shipping. :emtthumbs:
