I have Cyprichromis and Eretmodus in with shell dwellers nowwithout any problems. I think you are right though, you will need a bigger tank.

Anyone interested in splitting a box?  Only 6-12 fish per box, so they will be big.

They will also most likely be mean as a wet varmit.  So, needs a large tank 150 or more, and probalbly going to end up not being able to be kept together, but really cool fish.

People are actually having luck getting these to make colonies and getting babies.  F1's exist in Europe, wont be long till there here in US. Got to have the right mix and tanksize.

These are proven breeders, most people start out with Trewavasae because they are easier to get colonize, but remember Petros are Petros...
