Just wanted to say sorry about this group buy.....I only did it to help offer everyone a chance at a true wild order and not have to deal with a middle man.

From what I gathered it was 20% on fish and the $130 was an estimate shipping cost MADE BY ME so that no one would cry later if I were to say it was $90 and it turned out to be $100.  All these other fees and cost and what not somehow got figured in later which is when I felt I didn't want my box anymore.

khrister, your deal was the most fawked up and am sorry about that. I know you tried to help us make the order with your 4 boxes(expensive ones at that) which is why I sent you to Dan to get it straightened out cause he is the one in contact with the exporter and not me so I could not have told you anything about the box size and how much you would be paying.

I tried my best to make everyone happy...... I didn't like the 20% but that was something that was not too much for us to pay compared to retail so I felt whoever felt it was ok would be on the buy.


Oh well..... I know there are plenty of other Lake orders ahead of us!

Nothing to apologize about Quoc. It is just hard to let go of money when nobody can vouch what's coming in. This exporter I know wants 75% down and will only pay discounted 5% and we'll have to suck up all DOAs. Dan does not want to take responsibility which I do not understand since there is a 20% MARKUP per fish.

Anyhow we can still Proceed with this box order.
I know someone who can bring these fishes in.
We donot have to have a middleman, he will guarantee live arrival, probably same discount, he can ship to hobbie airport.
You guys pay him, he'll take responsiblity and not anyone else. This is a hobbyist group buy in the first place.
We do have to have a big order though. Let me know what you guys think and probably we can still make this happen.

Bummer, but I am sure there will be more orders in the future. Mike with Texas Tropheus Traders did a very nice job with wc order. I give props to Mike.

Dude, I completely understand, I have been in your shoes before and can understand your angst no apologies or hard feelings.

I wanted those Ikola to add to me existing group, but I did not need them to the point of this.

I am really sorry, I never backed out of anything before, but I was left no choice.

If this will still go thru, let me know.
