you can do that with a car jack?? right now my home have some beams that are rotting in the below the front of the house... you think i can change it using 2 car jacks?
I'm not sure, we got our home done by a pro. They made holes around the house, put concrete cylinders on the ground then (i think it was a gas powered) tool/jack was placed in between the cylinder and the house to push the cylinder into the ground they did a cylinder at a time until they reached a certain point.
Now you're asking about 2 rotting beams, it sounds like you're talking about a porch. if so, we have fix our previous porch like that but i think we used more jacks, my dad and my uncle also leveled an old trailer we hardly use, using car jacks, they just put a plate underneath the jack cause the jack itself will sink to a point.
