Here in about a week we are going to release the daily sched. and activities. This is going to be a great event and the speaker list is like no other.

I know that everyone in Houston is waiting for the next big auction. FOTAS 2011 will have one like no other. TONS AND TONS of fish ....some species you never even herd of.

The normal HCCC auctions are 500-600 items mostly all fish, this is going to be even bigger and better! BUCKLE UP!

Yes Hotel is $90 a night. This is a SUPER nice hotel. Don't forget you can share a room with people and save cost. I am doing that myself.

I will only be using the room to sleep. Other then that I will be out talking fish or having a beer with another fish freak like myself. This is going to be like the mardi gras of Fish Keeping events. Party for 3-4 days straight. ;9)

Looks like registration will open at 5pm Friday night with Talks by Paul V Loiselle and Melanie Stiassny and the Pizza Party.

There will be the annual FOTAS meeting Saturday morning followed by presentations by Kathy England, Les Kaufman and the USAFishBox speaker..Ad Konings.

In between there will be the kids tank decorating contest, tank room (fish for sale) vendor rooms (see the latest and greatest in the aquarium world) and then the banquet that evening. details still being worked out here but there will be a presentation by Charles Jones on the history of aquatics in Texas, the awards presentation, features speaker TBD and then followed by a really fun surprise.

Sunday will be the mega auction.

All events are still being worked out but as you can see, there will be lots to do and see.
