i was concerned about this too but after some research i am satisfied that the impact will be minimal. I ended up buying the 100ml bags for all the aquariums.

I was going to use a water filter housing for the reactor and possibly link two in a row to do it. Thinking about 4L or so?

I hate replacing purigen so I start out with way more then needed so it last a long time before replacing.
