Or premix it in a cup of tank water and then pour it gradually? I normally just measure it and then dump it in the tank.

I usually dump it into my sump and let it mix in there and then get pumped into the display/system.

The HomeDepot up north has them against the wall on the way out, by the doors. This is Sodium Chloride though, not magnesium sulfate.

lol.... I found out.... my goldfish is not having swim bladder issue.... he was completely normal in the morning and now he's back to the same "position" I thought was swim bladder.... it turns out... he is just sleeping/resting. hovering in one place under the floating plants and rocking back and forth.
I have the patience of a goldfish....

Goldfish tend to swim around and float "belly up". They're quite sporadic. They'll swim in odd positions and sit there. A lot of people mistake this for some kind of bladder problem and try to treat it causing stress on the fish.

I fed 'em peas this morning. they love it... just to be safe I'll feed them pea again tomorrow to help them. People recommend feeding pea once a week for fish anyways. It scares me... to see them doing all kinds of weird swimming styles at night. I thought something was really wrong with them last night. One of them floating on its side, the other one has its head in the moss carpet. Then this morning they were chasing each other around
