store credit?

who gives the best store credit? i have a few fish ive been trying to get rid of but no one wants them so now i might have to take them to a lfs.

what kind of fish are you getting rid of? I've always found that Fish Ranch does the best on trade-ins.

Fish Ranch II @ larkwood does store credit for most things.

Most will give you about 30% or less for trade-ins.

Fish Ranch II and Fish Gallery have been fair to me.

Fish Gallery will claim that they will give you 50% train-in credit, but it will be more like 30%. the only store that I have found that will do a true 50% trade-in credit is Blue Reef off of 1960.

Blue Reef doesn't have anything to offer in return on the store credit....

I guess it depends on the person, I have gotten great trade in credit and then they also have a really big selection of things to use my store credit on.

yeah, blue reefs selection does suck, but if you like SA cichlids then they have some pretty decent fish sometimes.

It is good to call ahead to any fish store.

Dan is pretty generous, it depends on the fish though.

Fish Ranch II I wouldn't do - they don't give very much at all in my experience. Then again, I have never tried to trade in the fish you are trading in.
