75.00 each for the ones on top on the far wall or the juveniles????  They were marked at $49.99 yesterday....LOL!!!!  Regardless, she told me "like 50.00 each" for the cichlids in that display tank too..... I was like...OOOOOK???

Yeah, it looks like it had potential to be a really nice store at one time with all of the space that they had.  Does anyone know why they are moving?  The sign on the door said something about new management or something, I didn't know if that meant the store was under new management or the strip center.

They told me it was the rent price went up, and the manager of the building wanted to lease it to something else.

Deric, good steal on the NLS.  If I had seen that there yesturday it be gone.

I am going by there tonight, and see whats left.

Hope there is atleast one bag of algae wafers there, my starving bristtlenose jumped over a divider to get to the other side, and ended up taking a carpet dive instead. :(  Poor babies...

all the freshwater fish today were sold around 10 bucks each. even some of the display tanks were sold. guy bought a 125g i think for 200.  a 120 gallon was bought for 300 (full tank set up). if you came later in the evening the prices were super cheap.

and i think aqua zoo bought up whatever was left.  i helped them load up some of the tanks.

I almost purchased those (5) Tropheus Bembas, but they looked bad.  I told her, that I would give her 25 for all 5 and she said, 10 dollars EACH!

I guess people had been hammering on her all day for cut rate pricing...

I went in the store around 6pm and it was like a diasaster in there.  I guess they decided it was cheaper to put the water in the floor than it was to put it in the drain..

They had all the cichlids in about 3 tanks combined, several were dying though, sadly.  Then looks like all the community fish were in a grab bag situation all in 2 tanks.

All dry goods were gone.

Oh well... I hope she can open again.  They said in 2 months, we'll see...

That's right they were bembas.... :(  I had to go ask the fiance........" hey babe, were those tropeus by almeda mall orange or yellow....[fiance] what are tropheus?[/fiance].....the ones that are in this tank right here, the expensive ones that all look alike....[fiance] oh those were orangy colored[/fiance]".

Good thing I didn't have any money to spend...

I ended up finshing 2 SW tanks one a 20gallon and the other a 10. I went in around 6 yesterday and she let me have as much sand as I could get out of her SW tanks and a crab for free. I also got some small coral, shrimp, and another fish for 10buxs. I can't forget the 2 big snails and about 5 small ones for free. Then I got some mushrooms and other frags for like $10. I got some other little stuff and walked out spending like $30.

I almost bought the large ones too but the guy in there said that they came from a bad breeder hence the reason they looked the way they did.  Then I almost bought the small ones that they had scattered in the other tanks but when I heard the bad breeder business I decided not to.  He told me that he would have sold me the large ones for $8.00 and the smaller ones for $5.00.....but I had to resist.  I didn't want my first encounter with tropheus to be a dissappointing one.  We must have just missed each other because I ws in there at around 5:30.

I don't know that they will be reopening since I got some dirt on the down low as to why they supposedly shut down.  Apparently there was some mismanagement of funds and they owed a lot of people a lot of money.
I also heard that they owed some back rent and that they were being kicked out and in a last ditch effort to make some quick cash.....50% off everything and get the heck out of the area...LOL.

ALL PROBABLY JUST RUMORS SO TAKE THE INFO FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH....TWO PENNIES.

Went buy today.  Bought the remaining Koi.  Place is pretty messed up.  Lot's of takes still.  The people are in and out.  I had to hang around for a while to wait for someone to show up.  There is a sign on the door "Notice to Vacate".  Aquariums, some rock, maybe a pump or two and that is it.

May be a good time to go and get the remaining tanks at pennies on the dollar for someone.  If there is a notice to vacate, they may have already gotten everything out that they wanted and are going to leave the rest for the land lord to deal with.
