    • I will be coming from work so wont have all the goodies for my punch, but i will be bringing one of the bottles from my first batch of mead. But i imagine that wont go very far, even with people just tasting it. Soooo i will bring something else too.( havent decided what) I am looking forward to seeing your place guys and as always am excited about the meeting.

How long is your light cycle? It sounds like the only issue you might be able to alter in that equation. Is a black out completely out of the question? What exact type of algae are you dealing with?

          • its not bad, green hair algae mainly. excel was keeping at bay and now that i am holding off on that for the sake of mosses, val and shrimp i expect it to pick up again. i may break it down some and rescape with crypts so that i can dose again. i may give it the complexity h2o2 treatment as well.

              • I'll pick up an extra just in case, but with prep time/cook time/pit area I might be reaching full capacity, lol. I'm sure beer/drinks is always appreciated!!! I'll be sure and hold on to some chicken for you or just show up a bit early and you can see all my secrets, lol...

                  • We are doing stuff fairly simple, but we will be home after 4:00pm and are just working on cooking, but feel free to swing over and hang out.

                          • Can you post a picture? I am interested. I might want to split it and use it in two tanks.

If you bring it to the HAS auction, I might be interested in it. I will only be in Houston on Sunday though.
