GHAC "June 2008" Meeting

Not a member of GHAC? Who cares!?! All are welcome. Bring your spouses, kids, food, drinks, etc.

The June meeting will be held at Delock's home.  Delock lives near downtown Houston, so this will be a more central location.

The meeting will start at 7:45pm and there will be a Mini-Auction.  

There will be some snacks and drinks provided, but please bring something you like and to share.

Odd question:

Do people consume alcohol at the meetings?

Just trying to get an idea of what is appropriate to bring and share.

Not an odd question at all.

Adult beverages are usually ok but we are a family oriented club, meaning children are usually present.  We ask that adult beverages not be consumed until after the meeting.  

Depending on the location, individuals have been known to stay late in a social atmosphere.  

I'm trying to say "yes, we are a social club, but we are not alcoholics."

LOL I didn't think you were alcoholics.  I brew mead, and wanted to know if it would be appropriate to bring some.  Certainly no intentions of getting drunk and rowdy :)

Delock said there was a garage nearby we can all park in -- and I am sure that he will have no problem with standing down there for a few hours..

Then I shall definitely bring some.  I haven't been going to the events I usually go to due to no time for camping - so I find that I have an over abundance of the stuff.  :)
