they are officially my favorite fish in the apartment. they are so interesting to watch. they are definately different from trophs. I wanted this colony for quite some time now. I had to jump when I saw them go up for sale. My number one goal is to now get them to hold.

I added 13 petros...12 Rainbow macros and 1 polyodon that will be removed shortly. other than that...everything is the same. no real aggression so far...im keeping a close eye on them though.

**Update** Total Chimba Fry from this tank= 30

I got 12 in a grow-out whiskey bottle(thanks John!!!). should be at a decent fry size in about two weeks.

well, after helpin Geoff move all weekend...it finally rubbed off on me. I just finished removing about 85&#37; of the sand from the tank. It was really easy too. I just got a large rubbermaid and put the drain tube in there and starting sucking the sand out. the sand was heavy enough to fall to the bottom and the rubbermaid just constantly overflowed into the grass. in a couple days(next waterchange) I will remove the rock and get the remaining sand out. I will post pics when Im done with that. the fish have already showed that they like it. the petros are shakin again and the trophs are too!!!
