Does anybody know if gulf shrimp are still in season? Need to get some fresh for my BG

As close to Galveston as you are you shouldn't have any problems finding any kind of seafood.

But I've never seen Viet Hoa or HongKong down bellaire ever short on seafood.

I would think any shrimp would do as long as it's not booboo looking, my pancakes and dragon don't seem to tell the difference and haven't noticed any ill effects from just getting the cheap headless shrimp.

I once got something that didn't look the same as gulf shrimp and my fish didn't like it. I bought those from My Hoang on Scarsdale.

Don't go to the smaller asian stores... stick to the big hitters only.

I don't trust the smaller asian stores and normally if I have to I make sure it's the freshest, if not I just get the walmart farmed stuff.

Gulf shrimp have been pushed out of our bays and into the gulf. Give it a few more months and the shrimp will be humongous bro.
