BN pleco question

Hello Boxers,

I have some common brittlenose pleco fry that appeared in my tank. What should I feed the fry? I've heard of blanched zucchini.

Yeah, they love zucchini. But they will also eat romaine lettuce and sinking disc/chip or just plain old vege flakes.

I've always fed mine whatever extra green veggies are laying around the house. This is usually romaine lettuce; but has ben zucchini, green beans, and spinach in the past.

Squished frozen peas are good too.

how long does it take for these fry to become big enough to eat algae. Or how long till they are .75 inch?

The bnp or half inch long to start their life out after emerging out of their cave. I do not know how fast they grow.
