  • question about hydor inline heater

Would there be any issues connecting the heater to the intake, rather than the return??
And are you answering from first hand experience?

    Thanks

I do not think it would be a problem. If it is i'm sure you will let us know. LOL. Really though I do not think it will be a problem. Good Luck.

would depend on what filter your hooking it up to. the nipples on it fit the return side of an Eheim 2260/2262. If you were using this filter you would have to scale down the hosing on the intake to fit the heater...slowing down the intake of the filter itself. I use them all the time on these filters but just connect it to the return side. Is there a particular reason for hooking up to the intake compared to the return???

I used an eth-250 connected to the eheim 2217 intake for years, never had a problem.
