eheim jager 200w for 20 gallon tank

I was wondering if it would be safe to use an eheim jager 200w to heat a 20 gallon long tank at 82f. I know that jager is a good brand I am just scared that it might stay on and overheat the tank any opinions? The reason i chose the 200w one and not the 100w one is because the 200w one is actually cheaper.

I have a 50 watt eheim/jager you could have but that looks to be too small for what you need it for. Unless, you keep your house extra toasty.

"IF" it does malfunction it will overheat but then again it would work a lot less when it is working right since it would keep the tank stable with less effort.
