Eheim 2262 gph rating with media?

So I have been looking for a mag drive pump to try and match the output of the 2262. My question is the gph output rating for the 2262 is that with or without media in the filter or is that just the rating of the pump that is on top of the filter?

That is what I figured. Because the gph rating on the 2217 is without media in the filter...

Am I correct in figuring a 100 to 200 gph loss with media in the filter?

I think it's more in the order of 200 - 300 depending on media used, and then more as the filter gets clogged up.

Plus factor in head between pump and return outlet.

I am going to be using eheim media. Yea factoring in head height and media 200 to 300 gph sounds right...

Now to pick a pump with the right gph with head height factored in...
