    Yeah I know what you meant...Well I guess everything dried out and is working so hopefully I've learned my lesson and can keep this think above water...Thanks for all the advice...

      Hot Glue. Pop Riveits. 1/2" bolt nut and Lockwasher....

          3m industrial tape where they use on cars is good. Since it stands up to rain and weather so it should hold up on the tank

            I'm going to check out Walmart in the morning and see what they got to hold it on till I can afford glass tops to prevent any more mishaps...

              I've noticed that the amount of food in the feeder also effects the amount dumped into the tank.

              If its full it will drop more food compared to it being half full

                Yeah that makes sense...There's not really any need to fill it up full anyways...1/2 or less will do just fine...

                    +1 eggcrate is cheap too and you can cut to size. Home depot sells them as "light diffusers"
