IMO, something that big needs to have a wet/dry. But if you must I would say minimum is 3x 2262.

I am running 2-FX5's on my 300 gallon and not had any problems from them.

Perfectly clean water.

I have 16 Trewavasae 4-7" and 10 Tropheus 4-5.5"

I think your 330 (7ft x 30 in x 30in) would be perfectly fine with 2-2262's or 3-2260's

I also run 2-Maxjet 1200's with the AlageFree Mod Kits that output 2100gph.

So, I would definatley put a couple powerheads large ones or the turboprop styled ones in each corner.

You're way under stocked in that tank compared to wha delock wants to put in there and you have it bare bottom correct geoff?

I still say 3x 2262's and powerheads!

I'm running a 2262, 2260, PC-300 w/d and 2x tunze powerheads in my 125g with 43 tropheus and sand substrate and its sparkling clear as well.

Well....

If i dont sell the tank I may cut out the overflow and go with 2 2262's  with 2 hydro korila 7.

Run the the intake from each bottom hole and have the returns coming up in a spray bar.

Remove all sand and go bare bottom also.

But I rather sell the tank!

I dont know what fish Derek is planning on stocking or how many.

But I run this tank barebottom to help it stay cleaner, and when I get all 16 of Trewvasae to 6-10" I dont think the tank will be understocked.  I am giving them the room to grow...
