drilling a tank

Does anyone know with absolute certainty if I can drill the back glass of an Oceanic 72 bowfront? and where can I find that info?

most likely if it has been tempered i do not think you can without risking destroying the entire piece of glass, however you could try asking someone at a glass store if it can be done.

just in case someone else finds themselves in my position. I recieved an e-mail from Oceanic and they said only the bottom and front glasses are tempered, so drilling the back should not be a problem.
