  • New Aquarium

I was looking to buy a new tank today at some of the local retailers. Where have i been? When I was in the fish hobyy, Oceanic tanks were the premier tank. Now, I can't find a tank that has the quality Oceanic had just a few years ago?

I am looking for a 100+ gal tank and quality stand that looks like a piece of furniture, not some of the cheap stuff I saw today? Any suggestions?

Look up Deep Sea Aquatics. Those are the former Oceanic aquarium makers that didn't want to move when Oceanic left Dallas. They have continued the "old Oceanic" tradition in my opinion. Nice aquariums. You should be able to order off their website or through a LFS.

Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Aqueon make real nice tanks and probably on par with Oceanic. I've talk to a lot of LFS and they say that they have never had one of their tanks from Aqueon aka All Glass Aquariums crack on them. A lot of LFS have them in stock especially 100g. I would try TNT fish and reptiles or Fish Land.

                    Have you seen these tanks?

They look really good in person. Fish Gallery and City Pets have been carrying them.

                          It's a Fluval Osaka tank.

Fish Gallery has had them basically between 40 and 80 gallons.

I'm in there once or twice a week and they are moving fast.

I know the 70 gallon tank is about 750.00. Comes with Fluval filter.
