    ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE FLUVAL FX5 CANISTER FILTER?

    Hello, I am considering getting a Fluval FX5 canister filter for a 210gal, it is rated for, up to 400gal.
    Does anyone have any knowledge of this model or product review? It is fairly new model I think. Thanks

    I have a FX5 on my 210 and I love it.  It does an outstanding job keeping my water clear.  I will warn you that some folks like myself have had problems with it blowing micro bubbles throughout your tank.  I solved that just by making sure that the media was not clogged slowing the flow of water.

      Thanks so much for the info! I have a fluval 405 on my 90gal I have had a few problems but overall it works great.

      I understand that  the FX5 turns itself off every so often to expel any gases and then comes back on, How does that work?
