  • Most clown loaches kept

What's the most clown loaches you've kept in a tank and how many gallons was it?

Most I've kept is 6 in a 75 gallon tank.

    Considering 12-15 for my 125.

I've had 13 all at once, but never put them all in one tank. Only because I wanted to put them to work in different tanks. ) I think it would be awesome to see 12 - 15 all running together.

        Would like to know more.

There are some you tube videos that have up to like 80 in a tank.

My friend have 17 I think and they school nicely it seem like they feel better in large groups.
Well Derek at list you know that when the time comes they will go back to you, you will be happy to see the biggest of them all; he name it twinkie! LOL he feed them very well.
A while ago he had an algae problem on the driftwood and he order 150.00 bucks worth the Neritinia zebra snails and put them all in the tank he did not know they feed on snails, so he call me one day to come see his tank because the water looks murky so I get there and the darn Botias eat so many snails they got the runs!! so I helped him change the water and filter and medicate just in case, they all made it and now they get a snail snack once in a while they are happy.
            Cheers,
            Luis

                  I have 4 now.

As I've said in previos post one of them is about 20 years old now.

If I but 10 or so more I'm going to pick based on unique markings.

                  Delock,

What did you run them with?

I have 13 in my 120, two are 4-5" and all the others are 2-3". they share the tank with 3 angels, 4 bolivian rams, 3 black ghost knives, an albino p. senegalus, a vampire pleco and a green phantom pleco. I want to add more but at this point they have to be either 6 inches long or bigger or have really unusual markings. I have one that has 4 bars instead of 3

But sometimes they don't make sense

Looks like i'm on the right track from a stocking standpoint.

Now i need to decide about the free swimming fish.

Going on a rock hunt to Nepco and Alamo Stone on Saturday.

Will have the tank cycling by Sunday.

Good banter things are crazy here at work so this is good stress relief.

                            Thanks
