Thanks for the info. It sounds to me like I should just go with the PFS since I am wanting to have a variety of colors. Appreciate all the help.

I was at Aquazoo today in Webster (very close to Alvin) and they had lots of black sand. Check them out. Very good people.

Oh I definitely plan on doing that. I looked up local fish stores and they popped up as did one in pearland. I am so excited to start getting ideas of what I want to do with my setup. I will check them out tomorrow. Yay

Check them out for sure. good people and they can get you just about anything you need. I get all my random filter parts from them. today i picked up a handle for a filter I broke for $5. Way less than ordering online, or replacing filter.

Wow wish I had connections like that here in college station. The closest thing I have to that Is mike(bethesdaboy) haha. He has a small warehouse of parts and stuff in the college station county aquarium ( aka his garage) haha

Ya thats nice, I like that. I am looking at different sites on here and looking to end up with a masterpiece such as this one that I found. http://www.ratemyfishtank.com/photo-main.php/15741 Right now my tank is totally naked and I am looking to give it a major make over.

That tank is a little too busy for me and unnatural. The mix does not work for me. It is all personal opinion. I like a full tank, but you should stick with a theme. I think you can do better.

I gotcha, well I have just been looking at some pictures trying to get an idea of what I want do to. I don't want it too busy, but at the same time I want it to look like a real habitat. I am kind of clueless as I have always used the crappy plastic plants before lol. Time to move up in the fish world and get serious. Any ideas on what I should do? I do plan on changing the sub. to sand whether it be white or the PFS, and I definitely plan on incorporating driftwood, rocks, and some plants in here.
