petsmart carrying trophs and demasonis

Wtf I'm at p mart and tought my girlfriend was tripin when she said they had dems but I look at the tank and right next to them I see some trophs.

Having kept both fish I say they are hardy if their needs are met but with the general pmart customers I can only predict tragedy for this fishys.

Yeah.....I read about this on other forums . One guy on the other forum stated that the Trophs are coming from a mass breeding farm in Taiwan . That other forum member is from Singapore and he stated that he had seen the mass breeding farms .

They carry fronts, dems, and three different trophs at that petsmart.

Dubs for sure.

There have been tropheus farms lake side and in the states for years. I think tropheus are just more common now.

Only the truely rare ones are worth keeping.

I work at petsmart there at. I basically control that tank and manage them, I'm having them change their diet soon also. I have it set to where the tank is filtered all day and not periodically. And there water is always moving. We have orangle flame bemba? And dubs. Petsmart has basically a strict policy were they done pay more than 2$ a fish. So where ever there coming from its a low quality mass breeder...we also carry the trophs that sunny has in his 125 I believe

ok i just stopped by the petsmart they even have red texas cichlids the tropheus are just fry for 11.99
