  • rocks?

Does anyone have or know where I could get a list of rocks that are "aquarium safe"? I know of a few rocks but I wanted to know what else is out there to pick from.

Honestly, I'd have to say any natural rock would be safe as long as you made sure it was cleaned prior to putting it in the tank. Now some compound/makeup of certain rocks can change alkalinity and such. But I have used rocks I have found in fields before with no issues.

Well yeah I kinda thought that too, but was really just looking to find a list before I head out to check places out because I kind of have an idea how I'm going to set up my tank but not quite sure on the rocks

I did think of schitz seeing how quite a few boxers had some for sale, but when I'm trying to think of how to set it up, it just doesn't work out

Some places will have websites with list and pictures of the rock they carry. Take bottled water with you so you know what it looks like wet.

Not a problem, I had the list in my phone so it was easy to cut and paste. Let me know what else you find and Ill add it to my list for future reference.
