Been trying to find a good store in or near Alvin that has Live plants and fish, looked at the map and couldn't find much near. Just wondering if anybody knows of a place not listed
That map is pretty close to being write. the best stores in the houston area are no where close to Alvin.
IMO: the best place is Houston Aquaeium Warehouse. I haven't seen some of the ones on the Southeast but I'm sure they will be as good as some I've seen. Extreme Pets has some of the most strange stuff sometimes. City Pets has some nice saltwater stuff and freshwater too. Fish Gallery is real nice but their over head makes them pricie. there are others I like.
If you do find a LFS in Alvin let us all know.

The closest one to Alvin might be Aqua Zoo in Webster, TX. It's on El Dorado, just west of Zabolio St.
Hope along 35 to Pearland, there's a little place called the fishbowl and more. It's only a teeny little place and it's geared toward salt more than fresh but they'll happily order anything you want, they're reasonably priced and I like supporting the little guys!

I figured the map was pretty close, I love living out here but it also sucks sometimes, like now
I did find a small place in santa fe but they didn't have much, mostly salt water fish.

I wish all these places had websites so I could check them out before driving.. Does the fish bowl have good prices on plants?
