I've been an avid MFK member for years, but for some reason never stumbled across HFB.
It's really nice to have access to a large community of dedicated fishkeepers, such as myself, that are somewhat local; versus the same thing on MFK, but with a community that is spread over the entire planet.
I really think I am going to like this, and will probably start using it just as much as, if not more than, MonsterFishKeepers.com

The site has been facing random black-outs all week. They haven't been releasing too much info, but it's slowly clearing up. There's rumors about cyber attacks from Monster Energy Drink, and other rumors about the site being over-loaded due to the new mobile app.
Honestly, I don't know what's up; all I know is it's beginning to get irritating.

so sorry to hear about that when I had my silver who was 30" he jumped and broke my custom made .5" thick glass tops which were at least 10lbs each when I heard a huge crack I was like what was that arowanas are so jumpy and antsy when I sold my arowana and we were catching him he broke a net and we had to use 2 huge nets to get him out of the tank once he was out of the water he was flopping like crazy

Only think I hate about the photos is that these people are mostly in places where all the cool stuff is legal... Makes me so jealous.
I'm constantly having dreams of a massive tank filled with freshwater rays and other illegal species lol

I agree but since we can't have them the photos fill the little bit of the void.

In the upcoming years I do plan on using some of my contacts at TP&W to get permits for various species. I've been told by officials that it actually isn't all that difficult, but that upkeep can be a pain in the butt if you aren't very serious about keeping the species you're permitted to own.
