                        Inded, that would be my suggestion as well. Shellies would do perfectly in a tank that size

                          55 gal- Ilangis ,clown pleco,abn pleco,rubber lip pleco

                          55 gal-Canary cheek,Ikola,duboisi, and fry

                          10 gal -fry tank,snails

                            There are a ton of options, but as far as tangs go I imagine shellies would be the most fun. Other alternatives would be Sumbu dwarf Compressiceps, smaller julies, Platyphusa crab, and a myriad of stuff from other areas/water conditions... Add aquasoil, plants and a decent light and it would make a wicked South American Leaf Fish tank. Sand and some Reeds/Bamboo and I could see an awesome ropefish setup. It all depends on what your wanting to do. If we could get a bit more direction I'd be happy to help brainstorm a bit more...
