I only have 4 bags left....I'm telling you, it looks great in the tank, and the fish seem to love it cause it kinda hides them (so they think), but it's very hard to see fry in my tank, I also have the back of the tank painted black too.....talk about dark waters..... :)

Tell me something, the picture is kinda small, but it looks to me like the fry have spots on their heads and striped on the rest of them, is that correct?

From what I have seen on other duboisi fry the spots blend together to look like stripes from far away or seem as though to old eyes......

Yes they do!  Is that not normal for that size?  They are teeny right now, and this is my very first experience with Duboisi fry.  I'll work on getting better pics tomorrow...maybe they won't be all shy and stuff.  :)  Or at feeding time.  They are ravenous eaters already!

I thought you might want to know!  I think she's still holding some, but I didn't want to freak her out anymore than she already was.  I'm not sure what we'll do with this first batch...it's always a tough decision.

I'll be sharing my chimba fry with fishlady when she is ready for them, but after that, I am going to sell mine about 15 at a time. That way, I figure, I won't be selling them very often, because I won't sell them until they are about 2 inches or so.  We'll see, I'm not very anxious to see any of them go..... :(

But like puppies, they are so cute when they are young, and then they grow to be like just any other chimba ..... :)
