Sand substrate

I'm changing my substrate soon from gravel andcrocks to sand in order to reduce amount of hiding places for waste. I have a 150G Discus community tank.

Does anyone have experience with Play Sand from Home Depot or Pool Filter sand.

I use PFS. No issues to speak of. Paid 10 for 50lbs at Leslie's

Just bought the Ace Hardware pool sand. It is a whiter sand than Leslies pool sand. $12.00 for 50lbs.

This tank has pfs from ace hardware. Whites pfs you can find outside fish gallery.
