    Do plecos cause this kind of damage to theplants?
    the only thing i can think of is that he is sucking them and killing them.
    any ideas, its a 12 gallons tank, nothing special never have had an issue before. plants.jpgsorry for the bad pic, it was taken with my blackberry.

    I introduced a pleco in my aquarium and it did that to my amazon swords. I don't mixed them anymore.

      Pleco's eat plants more than algae. Oto's are far better in small aquaria

      gobies
      lots of nanos

        Yes, but it looks like the main cause is nutriant difficancy.

        Nirogen, Potassium, phospate and Iron
