  • My plants got little holes

Could my Oto's algae eaters be putting holes in my plants?
    I have 7 Oto's in a 90 gal tank.
12 or 13 different species of plants. I see holes here and there but mostly on my swords.
Do I have to many Oto's ? And are they responsible for the holes?

I know not a good pic. But there is an Oto's right now sitting on my big leaves. Not eating algae but my plants instead.

Also I think my clown loaches are responsible for eating all the new anubias leaves. I notice they were swimming all over it, but I didn't realize what they were doing.

I think the clown loach mess with it even though they might not eat it.

I thought they were looking for food, but they were always around that excite area.

I doubt if the otocinclus are the culprit. We need to see better photos in order to determine.

Do woodpeckers have access to your aquarium???

The only fish that is always misbehaving and trying to fight all the other fish is Mr. Betta.
Because his fins are so big and long the other fish can get away.
