It also needs O2 so if you can throw a bubbler on it, it would likely help. I thought it would go septic after about 6 - 8 hours?Our Fishhouse

when i moved down here i put all my bio-balls in 2 - 5g buckets with water and no bubbler for about 13 hours and no problem but for 24 hours i might suggest the bubbler.Comment
