I spoke with GIMPY....sorry....Loretta just a short time ago, she is in good spirits and the operation went well. I did not get to go visit her this evening as her surgery started late and she was still a bit doped up or groggy if you prefer.
She received good news from her doctor, they where sucessful in doing what is called a "partial" on her knee, which is a very good thing I gathered. I'm going to print out y our comments and take them with me to visit her tomorrow after work.
Many Many Thanks
Steve

Hooray! What a trooper!! I hope you aren't down for too long, Loretta!! I'll still be thinking about you and prayin' for ya!!! Keep your spirits up, and don't let those nurses hold the pain meds back from you! (I had a really dumb nurse in the hospital and he refused to give me meds in my IV the night after my surgery and he didn't believe me that I was in pain...even when I was screaming my lungs out and hyperventilating!!) You give 'em h*ll, Loretta!!! LOL!!
Best regards on your speedy recovery. Prayers are w/ you. Virginia & Meg

I went to visit Loretta/FishLady tonight, and she's doing great. She is scheduled to leave the hospital tomorrow and will be out of commission for about 14 days or so, but I have a hunch she'll be up and walking around it no time.
She had family visiting and myself, and they are taking really good care of her there.

I think so, she's pretty fiesty you know.....she has to take this machine home that bends her knee constantly, and I think that goes back to the hospital in two weeks, with that and her Physical Therapy, she will most likely be ready for the party.

You all know that it will not be long before she will get on here and tell us all about the things she needs :) :) :)
Loretta when you read this :) From someone who has had knee surgery myself, (meniscus had to be shaved) what a pain in the *** it was... how much better I feel now a days.
