woke up this morning and all i see is purigen floating around in the tank and fuge!! what do i do? some how half of the purigen got out of the reactor.

will it do harm if left alone? im going to do a water change later and hopefully get most of it out

If you leave it, it'll clog up your filters.

so its not a have to take it all out right away . i can just clean the filter pad if it gets stuck then right

Not quite. It can cause damage to your impeller

Net? Unless you have an overflow and sump you can let the filter pad catch the purigen

get a small diameter hose thatll suck up the small purigen pellets and itll be just like doing a water change...

i was thinking of pointing the ph towards the bottom so it will stir up all the purigen that is sitting on the rocks or sand bed while siphoning out the water.

Turn pumps off, keep powerheads on to make sure it continues to circulate. Do a water change and siphon the purigen out. Use the net to complete the job.

This has happened to me whn I first got my reactor turn off all pumps and everything and let the purigen sit and gather up then get ur siphon and siphon them out its alot faster than dealing with purigen floating everywhere hope that helps from my experiment x3 lol
