Wanted: Pool filter sand

anyone have some laying around? need to cover a 75g thought id see if anyone has some just sitting around on here first before i make my way to leslies pool.

Have Leslie's changed the type of sand they sell?

not sure what type did you get? the time when i started my 150g i got some sand called southern media

I've seen two different types, the blue bag with white lettering and the white bag with blue lettering.

One is a darker looking sand that looks like the concrete sand stuff while the other is the nice light colored PFS we all know and love.

I bought sand about a year ago from them. Has the bag changed since then? Maybe I did buy the white bag/blue letter sand.

I think it is just location.

Kiko bought some up north and it was the darker stuff while ibitegirls picked up some down south and it was the lighter stuff.

yea i got the white bag with the blue lettering. "southern filter media" has a water droplet logo with S F M around it
