  • Wanted: 100+ gallon setup

I get to have all of my schools saltwater stock, since no one else has a tank, so I get about 20-30 fish. I'm just doing my research before it comes time to transfer them. The stock includes onyx clownfish, Picasso triggers, and stuff like that. So just looking now but if your selling and I like it then it might be a nice Christmas present or if you know any stores that give good sales at Christmas on tanks. It needs to but a maximum length of 4', but it can be any height. If you want to trade the your tank for some fish that I get them I can do that.

You sure your parents won't make you sell it like the last one? Wouldn't want you to waste your time and effort just to get rid of the tank once you get it.

They will let me. The last tank wasn't a display piece. It wasnt good enough for them. I asked them last week when the professor came and talk to me. And they agreed to it but it has to be low maintance, as in one water change every 3 months.

There are some people on the box with Baller Baller equip and they still do water changes every month if u are trying to look for a tank to do water changes for every 3 months u should switch to fresh

At least a month water change. That's seems more reasonable.

If the tank is within 50ft of a sink, you can do a water change with a python/aqueon water changer on a 100g tank in 15min and no water touches the ground and no need for buckets. 95% of people wouldn't be in the hobby if they had to do water changes with buckets

You're in the right place. Or Craigslist.

Guys and Gals, Your opinions about his water change schedule are not for this part of the forum. If you have a concern with what the OP is planning to do then please PM him with helpful information. If you dont have a tank to sell him or link to one please refrain from commenting.

comments about the water change were to help him as he said his parents agreed to him having a nice big tank with one water change every 3 months, if he does that there's a chance of the tank growing algae looking bad from lack of maintenance and his parents might make him sell it it was to help him save his money if that happens not as a discussion

It would also defeat the purpose of HFB being a helpful site. For him to receive the same PMs saying the same thing would be crazy. We're not creating a hostile environment and the OP didn't seem to mind the comments.
