  • For Sale: 90 gallon saltwater tank breakdown

Tank itself and some equipment is in Dallas, and some is in Houston. I can move anything between the two cities with some notice.

I have managed to find a solution for all of the live stock except the live rock and sand, so I'm going to be parting out the rest.

SEIO powerhead - gives great flow but is also silent, I believe it is a 5-600 GPH model.
    $10

Sump - roughly 30 gallon sump with 3 sections. Has inlet, skimmer/refugium section and outlet. It also has a bulkhead and valve to be connected to an external pump, we are currently using a submersible pump.

    $50

Return Pump - Rio 900 gph return pump. It works great currently, but you could certainly go with a bigger pump if you wanted.
    $20

Self made ATO system and 5 gallon bucket reservoir. Using aqua lifter pump and has adjustable and movable float switches.
    $25

DIY 10000k LED lighting system. This was made to replace two 250w metal halide pendants. Two big multi-chip LED's with 90 degree optics on them. I would say they are slightly less intense, more like 175w metal halides, but the anemones growing under them have continued to flourish (from about 12-14" to about 20+").
    $150

Lifereef skimmer powered by a mag 9 - this thing is great, my mother and uncle are taking care of the tank and hadn't cleaned it out in 6 months and it was still working. They hadn't even removed the cup, they were simply draining the skimmate. It had about 2+ inches of SOLID waste collected in it, and after a quick cleaning was working again.
    $150

Portal Aquarium Viewer and Algae Scraper - Love this thing, really cool to play around with. It is a magnifying glass that is attached to the aquarium.
    $40

Titanium heater - works spot on, temperatures vary about a degree.
    $30

Bulk Reef Supply RO/DI unit - This has the 75 GPD membrane since I wanted the higher rejection and is using the chloramine filters, since Plano has chloramine infused water. It works fantastic, gives 0 TDS water. Includes TDS meter. I just replaced the resin and all filters about 2 months ago.

    $120

There is also a drinking water pressurized tank and faucet. I would throw those in for another $10 if you wanted them.

Refractometer - Calibrated with 1.026 reference fluid, very accurate.
    $20

Lighted switch power strip - Easy way to switch circulation, powerheads etc on and off.
$25 or included with stand and tank

Have easily 50 lbs of live rock that is in a 55 gallon barrel with a heater and powerhead, so is still fully cycled.

    $150 takes all of it.

About 3 " of sand across a 90 gallon tank, you would need to bring a crapton of buckets. This is also under a powerhead and is still fully alive. Full of amphipods, baby brittle stars, copepods, etc.

    $50 for all sand.
