I didn't want to look at a heater in my tank so decided to experiment.
This piece will work fine with all Eheim Jager heaters. I was using their longest one -300W I believe. Each end terminates with a 3/4" female NPT. Simply push the heater through the uniseal and attach your hoses. I have 5/8 barbs on there currently if they happen to be the size you need as well I can throw them in for free.
Customized: I added a small valve at the top so I could purge air that would get trapped. I also purchased some straps to mount it to a board making it much more stable. The whole piece is finished off with gray paint because white with purple dripping down wasn't a good look.
Two months later I decided to build a sump, which means my little project is just taking up space now.
