  • FS: Large FW Gobies

I have a male and female.
They are about the size of your index finger.

I bought them for $14.99 each at fishranchII.
They are soooo colorful, bright blues, reds, and greens...they almost look saltwater.

I just need to get rid of them. They are too aggressive for my community tank.
    FREE.

If Travis doesn't get them, I would be interested. I have one goby and it is cute - definitely interested in more.

travis...shoot me a PM with your number. You can pick IT up today/tonight/tomorrow.
The female committed suicide last night and jumped the tank, but the colorful male is still swimmin' around.

Why does it work out like so in the animal kingdom?

Males are so much nicer in the majority and normally kill off females......

I know, right. I've been checking all day long and just to find out.

Holy mother of poop...the male jumped ship too.
There was the smallest friggin spot in the glass top where the filter intake hose is....he made it.

I found him when I got back from lunch.
I have no clue what kind they were. Extremely colorful dots and lines all over their bodies, about the size of my index finger...extremely...carnivorous. Between the 2 of them, the ate around 13 of my pygmy cories.
The fish ranch guy said that they weren't aggressive at all....my cories beg to differ.

I had never seen one fish actually stock and hunt another....it was terrible.
I'd bang on the tank to try and stop it. It didn't work. I finally caught the fast little things and isolated them, then they jumped ship.

Maybe their conscious got the better of them. *shrugs*

Morgunda gobies, I believe. They do better in brackish, but tolerate fw.
