Can't really tell by the pics but is the dragon starting to show yet?

Do you have pictures of the parents?

              Plakat or longtail?

He does show his fins off sometimes. I don't have any pics of the parents (Not one of my spawns). I believe they are Butterflies.

The dragon has a different "texture" from regular betta splendens scales.
The dragon's body scales are thick and metallic. The metallic coloring comes in as they get older - About 6 weeks old they show the silver and it got heavier as they got older.

Masks are common on Blue & Green Bettas. Most have a black head on a blue body. If the blue color extends over the head, they are said to have a “Blue Mask”. Red Bettas do not normally have black heads but are entirely red.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
