  • LF: Looking for Tri-Color Cyprichromis

Edited: Changed my mind. I think I'm going to go for the Tri-Color cyps. Non-Wild is fine with me.

I want to add about 15 Cyprichromis to my new tank. Must be non-jumbo. I prefer solid patterns over blotchy ones with blues being my favorite color.

Does anyone have any or know where I can get some? Mail order would be fine if I can't find them locally.

Thanks, I'll check them both out!

Looking at the various Cyps out there, I wish I could get Jumbos. I'm really liking the Tri-Colors and Black Bees. I like how the fins have such deep color which contrasts with the body. I could see 15 of them swimming around together!

Okay, I've changed my mind. I have fallen in love with the Tri-Color cyps. So I'm going to give them a try.

I do not have to have WC fish. In fact, I prefer to not spend the extra money on WC. I've spent a fortune on this tank already.

rockymountaincichlids.com has some yellow head tri-colors available (these are the ones that I've fallen in love with) at a price I can afford, but I stopped short when I read their shipping info. They mention more than once that if DOAs are due to the shipper, I'd have to take it up with them on my own. That scares me.

sicichlids.com has a similar caveat, but it's worded much differently which feels less threatening.

Both have the same prices and sizes of the fish.

Any other suggestions on where to look? I'd like to know my options.

Anthony at sicichlids is very a great person to business with. He knows his stuff.
                Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Great! Thank you! I'll give him a call tomorrow to see if he has what I want. If so, then I might see if anyone wants to do a group order while I'm at it.
