WTB WC Bembas.

I have a colony of F1 and some F2 frys, but I will like a colony of WC.

Sorry man, but I'm pretty sure you have a colony of tank raised that someone sold to you as F1. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but has anyone seen WC bembas.

bembas were cought along time ago then raised in safer locations in ponds around the lake

Pemba is the current location where they are caught and this is the northern part of the Congo area where the fighting is the most intense. This is an area most people simply avoid at most cost. Word is that there is a current low in the fighting right now and there is a possibility of several different fish could be caught over the next few months. Until some reputable people have staked claim they have gone there I would not trust the source.. just me

It is possible, I have seen WC Kiriza atleast 3 times in the last 5-6 years.

So if Kiriza is possible to have in WC, bemba could be as well.

I am not 100% sure, but I think Chip Speagle had WC Bemba's about 2-3 years ago. I could email him, but I remember he and I getting into a argument about it over in Cichlid Forum. He was very adament that they were wild caught.

The Last person I know for SURE had wild caught Bemba's was Aaron Kerrigan of Kerrigan's Aquatics in 2005.

For a while there I was working close with Daryl Grammer, and he tried for years to get WC anything North, and never could he.

Most north Wild Tropheus I have seen in recent years is from when Mike/Chip brought in Mtoto.

I almost hate to write this, but I think Airfish a couple years ago had wild Bemba also. I just hate to propagate if I dont know for sure.

A friend of mine call me in the morning and said he was going to place an order if I want any fish so I say yes WC Bemba not expecting any fish, but he call back 2 hours later and said they expecting some in November.
