anyway, i still need an XP3 for my 2217. I'm just not a big fan of the outtake on the 2217. I really like the XP3 better.

i like the xp3 outake aswell and replaced the outake with an xp3 outake.

its easy to do.

true, the 2217 has a flow rate of 264gph whereas the xp3 has a flowrate of 350gph, almost a 100gph difference.
quite a bit when it comes to canisters.

i loved the 2x xp3's i had on my old 125g, they are good filters.

yes i am. The flow seems to be much better on my XP3. Hopefully i can get with John soon and build a wet/dry and end all this cannister/HOB crap.
